<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\nFive elements coming together:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Condition Table: To define the key combination of a price, e.g. customer + material or price list + material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Access sequence : An order of condition tables of priority to be used in a search. It first looks at the most specific table (customer-material) and falls back to the more general tables (material only).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Pricing component Condition type, for example base price (PR00), discount, or tax. It determines the calculation type, the scales and if the value is a header or item condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Actual value e.g. \u20b9 500 per unit for Customer A effective from some date<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Price Procedure. The ordered list of condition types that controls the order of calculation, sub-totals and requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Simple example: A customer orders 100 units. The pricing procedure is read by SAP, which then runs through the access sequence for each condition type, finds the matching records and then calculates the base price, quantity discount and tax in the correct order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
