🔍 What These Dates Mean for You
ECC Customers
In case of running SAP ECC EHP 0–5, you should be aware that support will no longer be available after December 2025, and there also won’t be any extended support. For ECC EHP 6–8 users, mainstream support lasts till the end of 2027, while they will also get extended support until 2030, but the migration planning has to be started now.
S/4HANA On-Premises Users
Every release has its own lifecycle:
- 2020 version comes to an end in 2025
- 2021 version finishes in 2026
- 2022 version is supported till 2027
- 2023 version enjoys support till 2030
As per SAP’s advice, one should always be on the latest version to get the most out of innovations and to avoid any support gaps.
